I use technology and a sprinkle of creative thinking to craft experiences, both in person at live AV events and on the web by building bespoke websites. My technical and creative journey started with a Level 3 in Media Production, and I've continued to study and sharpen my skills ever since.
With 10 years of experience working with AV live production and web design technology, I’ve spent my time turning ideas into realised productions. Along the way, I’ve also helped train others to use AV equipment and software, including working alongside individuals with disabilities and leveraging assistive technologies to make those workflows fully accessible. My foundation is further backed by two BFI-led courses focused on creating a short film and a short documentary.

For over 9 years running, I’ve served as the joint AV engineer and web developer for the Deformity Correction Hull orthopaedic course, building bespoke applications to ensure delegates and faculty can interact with the event throughout the week.
My broadcast and live event work also includes handling some of the tech for the Culture Cafe TV show on Estuary TV, assisting a team for a charity dance event for Dove House to ensure we had all the required tech in place, and working on live shows ranging from dance performances to concert singing.

I’m a firm believer that if a specific tool doesn't exist for a job, it doesn't mean it can't be built—if it's possible and meets the project requirements, I engineer bespoke software solutions from scratch.

After all, working in tech has taught me that the only thing more unpredictable than a live production switcher losing its sync is someone asking, “Can we just add one quick feature?” right before going live.
My technical skill set covers front-end and back-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) as well as working with CMS platforms like WordPress and Concrete. I also bring polish to my projects using the Adobe Creative Suite for video editing, VFX, and motion graphics, designing custom lower thirds and visual assets that fit the job. To stay current, I keep up with the ever-evolving world of AI so my skill set stays sharp.
